Organised and hosted by the National Office of the South African Society of Occupational Medicine (SASOM), in collaboration with the Global Coalition for Informal Workers’ Health, Safety and Wellbeing (GCIW), and the International Ergonomics and Human Factors Association (IEA) Technical Committee on Informal Work (TC IW).

Overview

Informal and migrant workers represent a critical yet underserved workforce globally. This webinar brings together international and South African experts to examine occupational health challenges, explore pathways to decent work, and highlight strategies for community engagement and collective action.

The session is designed for occupational health practitioners, academics, and policymakers committed to advancing health equity for vulnerable workers.
