The South African Society of Occupational Medicine (SASOM) will host its 2025 Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) as a one-day hybrid event.

Two sub-themes will guide the programme:

• Occupational Health of Informal and Migrant Workers – Identifying and addressing gaps with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence
• Countdown and update – First International Conference of the Global Coalition on Informal Workers’ Health, Safety and Wellbeing (GCIW)

The programme (7–8 expert speakers) is by invitation only and not open for abstract submissions.

Programme Outline:

• Saturday, 15 November 2025 – Annual Conference (08h00 – 17h00)
• Saturday, 15 November 2025 – SASOM AGM (immediately after the conference, for members only, concluding by 19h00)
